It was great to get going in Woodborough Institute last week. There were only a few of us but we made some good music. I didn’t record the session but as it will take a few more weeks before we are up to strength I will for the foreseeable future.

This week we are trying out a new venue:

Lowdham WI Hall, Main Street, Lowdham. Postcode: NG14 7AB.

Turn off the Lowdham Roundabout towards Southwell, take the first left and the Hall is the first building on the left. There are enough spaces if we all park considerately. I described its virtues last week. Here are a couple of photos and a printable map of the location.

DIARY DATE: We have had a communication from Stathern this week; they would like us to give the concert that has been in the pipeline for two years on 7th May 2022. Please make a note of the date and let me know if you become unavailable.

This week we will rehearse the following:

ERP 79	When daisies pied
ERP 83	Come live with me
ESM 364	Jesu, dulcis memoria
OTA 122	If ye love me
OTA 84	Haec Dies (SSATTB)
Sheet	Love is the sweetest thing
Sheet	The Rose

Bring the big green Madrigals and Part Songs next week.

See you on Friday.
