It was great to see you all and resume singing last Friday; I enjoyed it. The singing was really good for a first time together for a couple of months, we sometimes lose sight of how good our ensemble is. It was good to welcome Simon and hope that he comes back!

Thanks to Mary for organising the refreshments and to Rhoda for chairing the discussion. I am gratified that the feeling was that we should all work hard to get a new conductor. The word is beginning to get out and there have been positive signs already.

There has been some disappointing news this week in that three of our five regular instrumentalists are not available on 10th December; I will expand on that on Friday evening.
