Another good session at Woodborough last week. It was pleasantly relaxed and a bit longer than intended, but no one seemed to mind.
Here is a recording of the rehearsal for everyone to learn from. The natural tendency is to notice the “mistakes” but also note how good much of it is. The sound generally is pretty good. Vicky and Renwick have to be commended for holding parts on their own, which they have had to do every week so far.
This week we are at Woodborough Institute rehearsing the following:
| OTA 122 | If ye love me |
| ESM 344 | Exsultate justi |
| MP 103 | Fair Phyllis I saw sitting all alone |
| MP 257 | My bonny lass she smileth |
| ERP 83 | Come live with me |
| Sheet | The Rose |
| CC3 196 | The Crown of Roses |
Your committee meets next Thursday; please pass any comments, suggestions, complaints to Rhoda, Mary, Cathy or Ellie.
